Here's an early Halloween present. XD
In order to force myself out of my art block, I thought to myself, 1) perhaps I should go the wuss route and do something off a photograph, just to ease back into it 2) I really ought to do some more Sweeney Todd-esque stuff before that movie comes out 3) I have been listening to "Red Right Hand" for days and Nick Cave is pretty Sweensterlike himself. The result is above. I'm not really considering this fanart since it's more of a photo-referenced portrait, Nick is a macabre kind of guy anyway, and there's nothing really to associate this with Sweeney Todd except the mood. and the blood. And the way I filtered it all to hell. And the fact that I was totally ripping off =azurelacroix 's style...I always wanted to try it, V! ANYWAY. Comments and crit much appreciated, but bear in mind Opencanvas isn't my favorite medium and I didn't start out planning to do a big polished piece so it's rather sketchy.
