So this is getting submitted as a full deviation because this is totally awesome stuff. oh yeah. *cough* and I'm discouraging critique because..it's a freaking sketchbook page. I'm not going to like, improve this any.
Right, well this is a page from my sketchbook, drawn during my first viewing of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Also drawn shortly afterward. I effing love this movie. And the overwhelming slash. Yes. Gary Oldman and Tim Roth? they rock my face off. They rock YOUR face off too, even if you don't know it yet. that's how awesome they are.
the top drawing is the first one I did, and I'm not as pleased with it as the later ones. that's Chibi Auggie in there, going all fargirly with joy. Roth has sharp pointy werewolf teeth, and that's freaking awesome. The bottom drawing is paraphrased Boat Scene, and if you've seen the film you'll know what I'm talking about. ...and then I give it the Clue treatment with the "Here's how it really happened." hee.
Right, these guys belong to...okay, well even though Shakespeare's public domain these incarnations belong to Tom Stoppard and Messrs. Oldman and Roth. and chibi Auggie is mine. Don't steal my art.
loving the paraphrased dialogue 8D
(That scene totally should have happened like that. It wanted to. Kissing should have happened, damnit.)
ps: I also find Roth's pointy werewolf teeth awesome
*sigh*... I so have to see the film...
