There. that's why. Best birthday present ever.
Been working on some pieces for a staff show in the gallery at work (that sounds so classy, hahah), and when they're done I'll take pictures of them. They're kinda fucked up awesome. well. At least the big one is.
So! things are coming! soon! but not now. Now I'm going to bed.

I think I really might have a problem when three of my four recent deviations are gay couples. seriously. I need to draw something else, OMG. I'm sure anyone who watches me is like "JEEZ when is she gonna do more Pirates of the Caribbean/Assassins/Good Omens fanart? What's with all the dudes all up ons each other?"

although to be fair the Mark and Ryu one was a commission, and Ed and Ichy aren't all up ons each other. just chilling.

perhaps at one point I will draw something unusual and completely outside of my normal repertoire. perhaps I will draw something actually trying to be artistic instead of just gratifying my own madness. Maybe one day I will paint a landscape, or upload some tattoo designs, or gasp, even a heterosexual couple! or girly slash. I really need an excuse to draw some girls all up ons each other, mine should be an equal opportunity gallery of gay. where was I? Perhaps one day I will go outside my comfort zone of subject matter! but it is not this day!

Okay, now I'm going to sleep, because it's almost 5 in the morning. ICK.

I know, I know, I never write journals. But hey, I finally managed to do some pixel art that doesn't suck so hard! and I likes this new user icon. waaaay more representative of my art now than the old one. Avatar! I love it!

And that's all I really have to say, other than my roomies are tag-team nagging me to finish a Spy Buddies story I started last semester. we'll see, folks! I am certainly not tired right now. (haha, watch it never get done. I torture them so.)

Now I know no one actually reads this journal, because I never use it. THAT ASIDE, I've got an announcement to make.

Art theft isn't funny, kids. I don't care if it's intended in a nice way or not, it's uncalled for. you ask permission, and you credit your sources. You do not take people's art without permission and use it to represent yourself on MySpace.

I'm working on getting this situation taken care of.

I'm thinking that future submissions will have big fat watermarks on them. I don't like doing that, but it appears I have precious little alternative.

this chicken fried rice I got at Wal Mart is so fucking full of sodium, my kidneys have shut down. ACK! I could not finish it all, it was making me sooo thirsty.

Also the Colbert Report is the bestest spinoff in the history of ever. The gravitas contest with Stone Phillips? COMEDY GOLD, my friends. good times.

and now I will continue to not do this Statistics homework project.
